Pirates and battles to conquer the seas

Skull and Bones is a premium action-adventure game in development by Ubisoft Singapore. Set in a fantastical late 17th-century world, the game immerses players in thrilling adventures centered on piracy and naval warfare. Explore a stunning yet dangerous world.

Discover Skull and Bones, where the ocean waves and thunderous cannons bring your pirate fantasies to life. Sail in a world where strategy and action come together in a deadly dance. Explore impressively realistic oceanic worlds, master naval tactics, and epic battles, and immerse yourself in an intriguing plot full of betrayals.

Onboard

Skull and Bones is based on real-time tactical naval combat. Players control a pirate ship, selecting from different types of vessels, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. The main objective is to plunder, compete for territories, and become the most feared pirate of the seas. The gameplay loop combines exploration, combat, and tactics, ensuring that each encounter is unique and exciting.

Visually, the game is a masterpiece. The oceans are surprisingly realistic, with waves and storms that affect gameplay. The ships, from their design to their intricate details, are meticulously recreated. Additionally, the animations during combat and the cinematics immerse the player in this pirate world.

The audio is immersive and detailed. The sounds of cannons, the crew's shouts, and pirate ballads create an enveloping atmosphere. The epic music adapts to each situation, whether it's a calm journey or an intense confrontation.

The narrative of this game is rich and complex. Set in the Indian Ocean, players find themselves in the midst of conflicts between pirates, nations, and commercial companies. The decisions made affect the plot, with fragile alliances and unexpected betrayals. The game adopts a one-time purchase model. Although there are options to buy cosmetic items, they do not affect gameplay.

This game offers a shared world where players can form alliances or face off in PvP battles. There are also temporary events and challenges that encourage collaboration and competition. The game also offers configuration options for various needs, including subtitles and customizable controls.

Open beta launch

After a long period of development, Skull and Bones now opens its doors to the public for a limited open beta phase. During this time, players can progress until Infamy Brigand, which is Tier 6 Rank 1. Worry not if you reach the level cap quickly, though, as you can still explore the game’s universe as long as the open beta is still going on. Afterward, if you decide to purchase the game, you’ll be able to retrieve your existing data and start from there.

Of course, no event is complete without rewards — this open beta in particular will treat you to thrilling in-game events like the Ghost Ship, Sea Monster, Merchant Convoys, and Elite Warships. Furthermore, you joining will snag you cool stuff as you accomplish certain tasks, such as the SIgn Language Emote, Cookie the Lemur as a pet, a Basilisk I Culverin as a weapon, and some fancy ship cosmetics Sir Reginald Grim Sail Emblem and Tarred Sail Pattern.

A captivating game to include in your collection

Skull and Bones transport players to a fantastical late 17th-century world where piracy and naval warfare reign supreme. With stunning, realistic oceanic environments and intricately detailed ships, it offers a visually captivating experience. Real-time tactical naval combat is at the game's core, where players command pirate ships, loot, and vie for dominance in a dynamic world. However, this game is still in active development.
